Looking at all the comments in this guestbook, I realize that, just like me, so many people have experienced the kindness of the staff, their constant wish to make your stay in Singapore easier. It's sad to be the last one writing in this book but I'm sure this is just the end of a chapter, not the end of the book. Thanks.

Thank you for your friendliness and sage advice. I feel like I couldn't have started my life in Singapore by myself. I recommend this to anyone else who is moving to Singapore, but has not yet found housing. And hopefully, you guys can open a new hostel to help out people like me because you are so good at it!

Amazing place! Had a great time here. Everybody is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and the roof balcony is even better.

You took me in when no one else would … well you sent me to a "brothel", then you took me in … but the point is you looked after me when the bloody xxx (no offence) wouldn't. So thank you. You are all welcome to stop and rest with me in Scotland if you ever make it over. As for the next time I come to visit - I expect to have my moment of fame returned to me as 'Dr Drake Ramorez'. (From Boy & Lucy: Hey Brian, thanks for your comments. Actually, it is not a "brothel", but is a small hotel that took a lot of couples who were married, but not married to each other. Well, you came to us at a time where most hotels and hostels were either fully occupied /charging very high rate, so to have a roof over your head for 2 nights is still better than sleeping on the street. Have an enjoyable time in Australia, now that you have a proper working visa secured. )

I love Singapore! And I love A Travellers Rest-Stop! We had an amazing time in Singapore - Boy & Lucy are great hosts. A great place to stay - really hope I come back! I left my voice(!) and lots of (shopping) money behind, but I have a lot of shopping and great memories to take with me!! - Rachel

After a pretty tough couple of border crossings from Thailand to Singapore, we arrived at 9am - and even though our room wasn't ready we were able to get washed and the gang here even gave us towels! Great bunch of people with some top tips for the best places to eat! Thanks guys - really enjoyed our stay after 4 months of travelling you made it an easy stay!

LOVELY. THIS GUEST HOUSE is the friendliest and most welcoming I have stayed at. Singapore is indeed loads of stuff to do. I can't think of anything else to say but it has been great.

We arrived in Singapore 2 days ago we were very scared because we arrived with no accommodation. It took us till 10pm (3 hours after arriving Singapore) last Saturday (28 Apr) to find a place. That's why we were so happy when we found this gem on the 29th. This place is a god send Singapore should be very proud after spending 4 months travelling in Asia. This I can say has it all. - Top staff - facilities - comfortable & best of all when travelling a HOT SHOWER! We will most difinitely be back. Spread the word A Travellers rest stop is the BEST! - 2 Lonely travellers sad to be finishing our world tour but excited about going home.

Three days in Singapore is a great experience! I was referred to this hostel by friends who have already been here! I must admit they were absolutely right. Kind staff, clean accommodation, AC, etc etc. Tonight I leave for Sydney but I surely hope to return to Singapore in the near future.
