Theemidhi ("Fire-walking" ceremony)
Theemidhi is an Hindu festival dedicated to Goddess Draupadi, who proved her innocence by
walking bare-footed on burning coals. In a display of breathtaking courage, devotees
repeat this challenge along a bed of burning hot coals.

Thaipusam
A time of devotion and thanksgiving for Hindus. Devotees pierce their bodies with
